Build a unified binary format ("LangSeq") that reads heterogeneous linguistic data (WAV audio, CSV phoneme inventories, IPA transcriptions) into a single queryable structure. Language = cell. Sound = read.

- UCLA Phonetic Corpus: 95 languages × WAV audio + IPA annotations (391 MB)
- PHOIBLE: 3,142 unique phonemes across 3,000+ languages

- ASJP: 568,821 simplified phonetic forms, 11,540 languages, 100 concepts

### O2 — GEMThread: Unbiased Phonetic Decomposition

Run unsupervised dimensionality reduction on the LangSeq data with NO pre-imposed axes. Each language = cell, each sound = barcode. Let the PCA/UMAP show what the natural structure of human language sounds like. Prior ASJP attempt (9,826 langs × 185 phonemes) was biased by simplified encoding — redo with full IPA + tones + clicks.

Use etymological BAM files (actual word histories) to trace which divine concept held the throne at each branch point. Track *dyew- (sky/shine) → Zeus/Jupiter/Deus/Týr/day across Indo-European. Extend to Semitic (*ʔil → El/Allah), Sino-Tibetan (天 tiān), and others. The n_families coupling map is topology only — need real temporal data.
