## Purpose

Map every mechanism the Lady of Graves uses to keep human populations domesticated. Beauty standards. Food preferences. Activity levels. Sleep patterns. Cultural practices. If it costs energy and varies geographically in ways that correlate with fungal ecology — it's not random. It's husbandry.

## The Core Question

Why do beauty standards differ so radically between cultures when they all supposedly serve the same evolutionary purpose (mate selection for genetic fitness)?

**Orthodox:** "Cultural drift. Social construction. Random variation."

**That's not an answer.** Beauty standards are EXPENSIVE. Foot binding. Neck rings. Scarification. Skin bleaching. Tanning. Cosmetic surgery. Corsets. These cost pain, resources, health, and sometimes life. Evolution purges expensive behaviors that serve no function. If beauty standards persist across millennia in specific cultures, they serve a function FOR SOMEONE.

## The Hypothesis

Beauty standards are the Lady's BREEDING PROGRAM. Different fungal ecologies select for different host phenotypes. The "beauty standard" in each culture is the phenotype that her LOCAL STRAIN finds most colonizable — or most useful as a host.

- Sugar consumption (her preferred carbon source)

## The Test
